Mesquite Fire & Rescue – May 3 – 11

Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. Below is a portion of the record of calls responded to by Mesquite Fire and Rescue as reported in public documents.

5/3/2021

Falls- Rescue 31 responded one a person that fell. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Patient Trans -Rescue 12 responded to Mesa View Hospital for CCT transport to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

Patient Trans -Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a BLS transport back to patient residence in Beaver Dam Arizona.

Trauma- Rescue 11 was dispatched to a patient with a traumatic injury.  One patient was transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Convulsions- Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 was dispatched to a patient having a seizure. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Sick Person- Rescue 31 and rescue 32 was dispatched to a sick patient. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.

5/4/2021 

Falls- Rescue 31 responded on a person that fell. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Patient Trans- Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View to transport a hospice patient back to their private residence.

Falls- Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person who fell. Lift assist only.

5/5/2021

Falls- Rescue 31 responded to a call for a person involved in a ground level fall. One person transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

5/6/2021

Cardiac Arrest -Rescue 11, Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a person in cardiac arrest. Rescue 11 transported one person to Mesa View Hospital.

MVA with Injury -Engine 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a call for a MVC reported on the I-15 northbound. Both units were cancelled and was reported unfounded.

Abdominal Pain- Rescue 31 responded to a call for a person having abdominal pain. One person was transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Allergies/Sting -Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of an individual experiencing an allergic reaction. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Sick Person- Rescue 11 responded to a call for a sick person. One person was transported to Mesa View hospital for further evaluation.

MVA with Injury- Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident. Rescue 31 evaluated one person who declined transport for further treatment and evaluation.

Unconscious -Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a report of an unconscious individual. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Patient Trans -Rescue 33 performed a CCT inter-facility transport from Mesa View to St. George. MVA with Injury Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to a motor vehicle accident. No patient was found and all units cleared.

Sick Person -Rescue 31 responded to a sick person. Rescue 31 treated and transported to Mesa View.

5/7/2021

Abdominal Pain- Rescue 31 responded to reports of a person with abdominal pain. Rescue 31 treated and transported the person to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.

Patient Trans-Rescue 33 responded to an inner facility transport from Mesa View Regional to Intermountain Hospital St George. Rescue 33 transported the person without incident.

Sick Person- Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a sick person. Rescue 11 treated the person who declined transport for further evaluation.

Trauma- Rescue 11 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of a traumatic injury. One patient was evaluated after being injured in a golf cart accident. The patient refused to be transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

Sick Person- Rescues 31 and 11 responded to a report of a sick person. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Agency Assist- Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a request for mutual aid from Beaver Dam Littlefield Fire District to assist on a motor vehicle accident.  Mesquite Fire and Rescue crews provided manpower to assist in removing a patient from an accident scene and up a steep embankment.

Patient Trans- Rescue 33 provided a medically necessary patient transport from Mesa View Regional Hospital to a local residence.

MVA with Injury- Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near the Mesquite side of the Bunkerville Bridge on Riverside Rd.  Mesquite Fire & Rescue crews along with Mesquite Police Department personnel searched the area, but no accident was found.

5/8/2021

Unconscious -Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of unconsciousness. On scene there was no patient.

Convulsions -Rescues 11, 31 and 32 responded to a report of a seizure. One patient was evaluated, but the patient refused to be transported to a hospital.

MVA with Injury- Rescues 11, 31 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a vehicle in a pond at a golf course. No patient on scene.

Sick Person- Rescue 11 responded to a report of a sick person. No patient on scene.

5/9/2021

Sick Person -Rescue 31 responded on a sick person. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Allergies/Sting -Rescue 11 responded on an allergic reaction. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Unconscious -Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded on an unconscious person. One patient transported Mesa View Hospital.

Abdominal Pain- Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded on a abdominal pain.  One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

5/10/2021

Breathing- Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded on a person with breathing difficulty. One patient transported to St. George Regional Hospital.

Abdominal Pain -Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded on a person with abdominal pain. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Hemorrhage- Rescue 31 responded on a person with bleeding. Patient controlled bleeding prior to arrival. No patient contact. Patient denied any medical needs.

5/10/2021 

Allergies/Sting- Rescue 31 Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 was dispatched to a patient having allergic reaction. One patient was transported to the hospital.

Falls- Rescue 11 was dispatched to a patient that had fallen.  One patient was treated and transported to the hospital.

Sick Person -Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded on a sick person. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Heart Problem- Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded on a person with heart problems. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Falls- Rescue 11 responded on a person that fell. Lift assist only.

5/11/2021

Cardiac Arrest-Rescue 31 and 32 responded to reports of a person in cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, the patient was determined to be deceased.

Falls-Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person who fell. Patient was transported to Mesa View ER

Falls- Rescue 11 responded to a fall and performed a lift assist only.
